Palm

We woke up at 3.30 am as we had to change our clothes before going to the new Bangkok international airport, Suwannabum. We checked in for our Thai Airways flight, looked around the duty free areas and then boarded our Airbus A330. Our plane left at 7.45 am and the flight to Perth was just over 6 hours. We arrived in Perth at 6.55 pm Australian time. Jern, another Kanlayanee student was staying with the same host family as me and New and then we went to her house. This house had many people from different countries staying there. They came from 4 different countries, a Korean guy called Billy, 2 Chinese women called Vicky and Joanne and a German woman named Alex. Then of course there were2 girls from Thailand called New and Palm<me>. Also in this house there were 2 dogs named Monty and Lady

I had a big problem with my baggage, it had locked and I couldn’t remember the password so I told my host mom. She told Bill and then Alex helped me open the bag. They used tongs. < Before, they cut, they asked me, “Are you sure we can use tongs to open it?” I said,0 “Sure.” > then my bag opened. Then I took a shower and watched the TV with Billy and New then we went to bed and I said good night to Billy. < Jal-ja-yo is good night in Korean>

I got up at 7.00am. Ohh!!!! we had a big problem, we got up late because my alarm clock was still set to Thai time < you know; time in Western Australia is 2 hours ahead of Thailand.> and I forgot to change the time from Thai to Australian. Never mind, We had a plan for this morning, we didn’t take a shower then we changed clothes and we brushed our teeth and washed our faces then Mom called us to have breakfast. We met Billy at the swimming pool then we all went to the bus stop together. I and New didn’t have any coins for the bus so Billy paid the fare for us. On the bus, Billy said “You must remember everything you see and everything you hear.” We said “O.k.” It took 15 minutes for the bus to get to the city and then we followed Billy to Milner College. We were at school at 9.00am. We went to the office and did a test. When we finished the test, I knew that my points were very bad. I went to a class at 11.00a, class 4.5 which was the same class as New.

In this class there were 11 students most of which came from Korea. Today we studied the present simple and did some listening too. My teacher was Ryan. We finished class at 11.45am, had lunch which we bought for 9 dollars and we shared it between 3 people. Today, we went to buy a Smart rider < bus card> for 20 dollars and we also bought a 'sim' card for our mobile phones for 10 dollars. We went back to our house at around 5.00pm. Today we had homework which we did together. We ate dinner, showered, watched TV and went to sleep at 11.30 pm.

I got up at 6.00am. I wanted to take shower but somebody was already in the bathroom so I had to wait. Later we left for school and we arrived there at 8.3oam, then we went straight to class. Today I sat next to Micky who was very nice and came from Japan. She was my partner. We finished class at 11.45am, and then we met Ajarn. Mayuree and Thomas in the garden. We had lunch when we were finished and then we went to a supermarket and bought some sweets before going back to our house. The afternoon was free time and at 5.30pm we went to the beach with Alex. She was very nice because she liked Thailand. Then we went to Bold Park which was very nice and we could see the outline of the city as well as the sea. We were very tired going up the park but the views were worth the effort. Then we walked back to the house, had dinner, showered and I went to bed at around 10.45pm.

I got up at 6.20am. Then I took shower, had breakfast and then we went to the bus stop to wait for a bus. We arrived at Milner at just after 8.30am. Today we studied about ability <can> and how to use our voice when speaking. We had a break for 20 min and we finished class at 11.45am. Then I and Neen went to the second floor in the computer room and sent some e-mails to our parents and friends in Thailand. In the afternoon we all went to Caversham Wildlife Park where we saw some kangaroos that we were able to take photos with. We saw lots of other Australian animals too, koalas, dingoes and many birds. After Caversham we went to a chocolate factory and then we were driven back to Milner. We walked to the train station to add some money to our travel cards. Then we went back home with May and Pat because they were going in the same direction<to City beach>. We had dinner and we slept at 10.30pm.

We had to wear our Kanlayanee uniforms today because we are visiting another school. We started studying at 8.45am, had lunch, from my mom, she made us a packed lunch. In the afternoon we boarded the mini bus and after a short drive we arrived at Duncraig Senior High School. Here we were divided into 5 groups and with some Duncraig students, we were given a tour of the school. After our tour we spoke with the students and then gave a demonstration of traditional Thaii dancing. I think, they were very impressed with us because we danced together and when we were finished everybody said thank you and we said Khob-Khun-Ka < thank you in Thai>. Soon our time at Duncraig was over and we boarded the bus once again. We sang songs together on the bus and it was good fun. After a short time we arrived at a beautiful beach where we took many photos. After our time on the beach it was we back home for dinner and sleep.

We got up at 6.30, had our breakfast and set off for Perth and Milner College. We arrived at 8.30am. Today we had some tests for units 1-5 and then we had our break. When break was over we continued studying the past simple. Today Aauim <classmate> was finishing her studies as she had to go back to Japan. In the afternoon we went to Fremantle by train and had lunch in the marina. Then we went shopping, we only had 25 min to shop< Ooh!!! Such a short time!> before going back to the station to board the train back to Perth. When we got home, I, New, Alex and mom all went to park and did some exercising. I had dinner at 7.45pm and went to bed at about 10.30pm.

Today, we got up at 8.30am and watched some TV. We went into the city at 11.25am and did some shopping. Then we went back home at around 4.30pm. I was a little tired so I slept for a little while and then we went to the beach again. We sat on the beach and talked together < this beach was very nice and beautiful and a lot of people came to swim here>. We went home at 7.30 pm, had dinner and I took a shower. I called my dad in Thailand < I used a telephone in the house, which I paid for. We had to pay 25 c per time>. I slept at 10.45pm.

We got up at 8.00am and at 9.15am we went to May and Pat's house which was just up the road. Unfortunately, we forgot which house it was!. We searched for a long time. Then we called them and we met at the bus stop. We all went to the city for lunch and we met up with Pim and Neen. Then we all went to City Beach and went swimming. At the beach we swam together and had good fun. At 4.15pm Neen and Pim had to go back to their house. Then I, Pim, Neen and May went back to my house to shower and change clothes. Neen and Pim then went to wait for a bus. Then we all went back to the beach and swam some more.

Today we swam together for many hours. We back to our house at 6.00pm. We had dinner at 7.00pm. Then I took a shower and then watched TV. We were a little bored so Billy asked us, “Are you bored?” We said, “Yes”, so we played some games together. It was a Korean game and really good fun. We went to bed at 11.00pm.

We woke up at 6.30am and had breakfast at 7.00am. Then we went to the bus stop and waited for the bus. Today we started class at 8.45am and finished classes at 11.45am. We had lunch. In the afternoon we played football with Ryan, a teacher at Milner. Before we played, Thomas punished us because we went to Milner a little late. Then we played some more games with Ryan. We were very hot because we played at 01.00pm and the sun was shining, but it was good fun. I won 3 times!! Then we went back to Milner School to plan for tomorrow when we would be visiting another school. Then we went back home, had dinner at 7.00pm. I had a shower then I went to bed at 10.35 pm.

I got up at 6.30am, had breakfast and then we went to the bus stop again. Today we arrived at school at 8.20am. When we finished class we went into the garden and had lunch that P’Big <Geordie's wife> had cooked for us .... this lunch was delicious. Then I, Neen and Jern had to practice Thai dancing because we had a show at another school. When we arrived at this school, <Mercedes College> this school was all girls and the uniforms were very pretty. We showed off our Thai dancing and then we all danced together. It was good fun. Then we went home again and had dinner at 7.00pm. We had a small party because it was New’s birthday. We ate cake and talked together and played some games. I showered, watched TV then went to bed.

Today we arrived at school at 8.35am. We finished class at 11.45am and we went into the garden for lunch. Then we went to a bus stop and waited the yellow bus<free>, we went shopping for clothes because it was quite cheap. I didn’t buy anything though. Then we went to buy some souvenirs for my family and friends back in Thailand. I bought many souvenirs. Then we went back to our house and we did our homework together. Then mom called us for dinner. After dinner I watched TV and I slept at 10.45pm.

I was up at 6.30am this morning and we arrived at Milner at 8.20am. When we finished classes we all went to Perth Mint < it is where they make gold coins etc> We watched a demonstration about how they make gold bars and I bought some gold for 17 dollars and then when we were finished with everything we all took some photos. Then we went to shop for clothes again at the same place we were at yesterday. I bought a dress for me and a t-shirt for my brother. Then I and new went to the bus stop and waited for the bus home. We arrived at our house and we did our homework. We had dinner at 7.00pm and then I watched TV with Billy and we talked together. I went to bed at about 10.00pm.

We arrived at school at 8.20am and today I wore the dress that I had bought yesterday. We started classes at 8.45am and finished class at 11.45am. When I finished class we took photos with my teacher and my friends from class. Then we changed our clothes in Robyn’s class because today we were to perform for Milner College. After our show we had our 'Graduation Ceremony' followed by more photo taking. We then went and had lunch at subway. We were very full afterwards. At 3.00pm I, Gam and Jern went back to Milner to wait for our friends. Then I went back to my house as today we must make a video about our host family. We took the video which was good fun. Then we had our dinner. Alex went to the airport and back to Germany. I, New, Billy and mom went to the city with Alex. When we arrived at the city and Alex had to go, I was very sad, I cried. We hugged Alex. Then we came back to our house. I showered and then I went to bed because tomorrow I have to get up very early because we have to go back to Thailand.

Today I got up at 5.30 am. We had breakfast and then Mom went to get her car. We wrote messages to Billy, Joann and Vicky because they didn’t get up. Mom took us to Milner College where we had to say “Good Bye” to mom. We cried. Today we were very sad. The mini bus took us to the airport and Robyn helped us check in for the flight and soon we were sitting on the plane. The plane left at 10.00am and 6 hours later we arrived in Phuket. We spent an hour here and then the flight took off again and we arrived in Bangkok at 6.00pm. I called to Billy “Hello Billy, it's Palm, Can you tell mom that I've arrived in Thailand already?” Billy said, “O.k. ohm!! Palm why you didn’t wake me in morning? I wanted to say good bye to you and New.” I said you were late” …..

We then changed planes and got a Nok Air plane down to Nakhonsrithammarat arriving at 11.00pm.

…………….I want to go back to Perth……… I miss my Friendssssss… TToTT
