Day
1: We
left Kanlayanee School at 5 pm. The trip to Bangkok took around 10
hours. We stopped at Khun Sarai restaurant on the way to have
dinner.
Day 2: We
arrived at our accommodation (Amarin Mansion) around 6 am. Everybody
checked in, got ready to leave again for our visit to ABAC
University, but not before we had had breakfast. At 9 am, we left
for ABAC University. The students enjoyed the campus tour a lot. The
facilities, classrooms, dormitories and canteens are all very
beautiful. We had lunch here and it was extremely good. We left
around 1.30 pm. After that, we went shopping at Future Park, Rangsit
for a couple hours and then went back to our accommodation.
Day 3: The
students woke up around 5.30 am. We all woke up quite early so we
could have breakfast before leaving for Mahidol University
International College. We left our accommodation at 8.30 am. The
bus arrived at our destination earlier than scheduled so the
students wondered around the area by themselves, but still had a
great time. University orientation started at 10 am. For the campus
tour, we got a chance to visit the classrooms and their hotel where
students study hotel management. The view from the top of the hotel
was magnificent. We had lunch here and left around noon. The
shopping time at Siam Square began around 1 pm. and we all stayed
around this area until 8 pm.! Everybody finished their dinner before
our meeting time and left Siam Square happily with a lot of shopping
in our hands. It was around 9 pm when we got back to our
accommodation.
Day 4: For
our last day in Bangkok, we woke up very, very early at 6 am so that
we could make two stops at interesting tourist attractions on the
way home. The first place we stopped was called Maruekkathayawan
Palace where students learnt a little about Thai history in English.
We spent about an hour here. Then, we moved on to the next
destination called Plern-Wan, Thailand’s first ECO village in
Hua-hin. We also did a lot of shopping and had lunch here. The food
was really good. Everybody enjoyed their time here a lot. We spent
about an hour and a half here and left for Nakhon Si Thammarat at
12.30pm arriving at Kalayanee at around 22.30pm.
