English Competitions
'New Horizons - New Frontiers'
Here at Kanlayanee we are always striving to help our students in their learning. One way in which we help the students is to challenge them, not only within the walls of the school but regionally and nationally as well. One of the students learning in our English Program has over the last few months been participating in and winning various English speaking competitions around the country. On the 14th March 2008, Arraya had managed to find herself in the top 10 speakers of her age in Thailand, no mean feat when you realize that many of her competitors were already studying in major International Schools in Bangkok. She didn't win this competition but she did us proud making herself the best English speaking student in Southern Thailand. Well done Araya.

Congratulations Araya on reaching the top 10!
'Mook goes to China'
Mook, one of our M3 students recently returned from a two week trip to China in which she was representing Thailand in an international Chinese competition. Mook is a star English learning student within her M310 class and she is also fluent now in Chinese. In this international competition, she came a very respectable 3rd place - not bad considering some of the competition she was up against!
