Day 1   11/03/07

      Today I woke up early because I had to go to Suvarnabhumi Airport at 5.00am to check in at the Thai Airways desk for my flight. Today I’ll go to Perth Australia as an exchange student. I checked in and then flew to Australia. The flight took 6 hours … Oh such a long time. In airplane I only slept, ate and listened to music. And when we arrived at Perth Airport, because Australia is an island they have many rules, one of which is no wood and no food. I had something that made from wood to give to my host family and also some food and medicine. It was confiscated by the customs. When I left Perth Airport we went to Milner College and met my host family. They took me to their house. I thought this house was very warm and every one was so kind and friendly. And today for dinner I ate potatoes as my first meal in Australia. The first night I didn’t sleep well because I missed my family in Thailand.

 Day 2  12/03/07

      Today I went to Milner College at 8 o’clock for a writing and speaking test to allocate me a classroom and teacher. After that I went to room 3.1 with Gam one of the other Thai students and my teacher’s name was Nick. When I went to my classroom I met many new friends and met Nick. He was very funny and kind. But today was very hard for me and my friends. I thought I must use the time to change myself. Today we walked in the city and bought lunch in the city. And after that we bought SIM cards [but I didn’t buy] and then I went back to my house in Scarborough. I started at Perth Train Station and caught the Joondalup train to Stirling train station. Then I went to stand 8 and to catch bus number 421 to Pearl Parade. Oh, it was very difficult for me at first. It’s a good learning curve for me.

 Day 3 13/03/07

       Today was my second day at Milner College. The morning class was very funny and today we were given some homework. I went back home early because today I had a free afternoon. It took a long time to go to my house. I ate sandwiches for lunch. And I spent most of the time with my host family. I chatted to my family in Thailand also on the phone. I ate some special food for my dinner. I slept very well and tomorrow I will go to Caversham Wildlife Park.

 Day 4 14/03/07

       Today was my third day at Milner College. In the morning class we were very happy. Today we didn’t have any homework. Yehhhhh! In the afternoon I went to Caversham Wildlife Park and fed some kangaroos, saw the Tasmanian devils, and took some photos with real kangaroos and koalas. Today I saw some pink birds which were really cute. I saw an animal called a Wombat and I saw many different kinds of animals. After we had finished at Caversham Wildlife Park we went to a chocolate factory and I saw some chocolate that looked like rabbits and many different kinds of chocolate. A wonderful place!!! Then we went back to Perth city, and then went back to my house, ate and slept well.  

 Day 5 15/03/07

      Today I finished class early because I visited a school called Duncraig SHS. I ate pack lunch[Julia made it for me], apple and some snacks. We took the bus to Duncraig SHS. This school was a public co-educational school located in the northem suburbs of Perth. Before we went to Duncraig SHS, we saw the countryside outside Perth. It is a good change to meet with local high school students. Before we played Thai music and performed some Thai dancing, some Duncraig students gave us a wonderful tour of their school. After that we had some snacks and orange juice. Here the students were very friendly. I liked this school.

 Day 6  16/03/07

      In my morning class my teacher taught me for the last time because he went to another classroom to teach a new group of students. Monday morning and we will have a new teacher to teach us. Today we went to Fremantle for some sightseeing and shopping. We went by train and had lunch by the sea. Today I ate fish and chips. When we had finished eating we had a tour of ‘The Roundhouse’, one of the first buildings ever built in Fremantle and afterwards we did bit walking and went shopping. Here I bought some things for my younger brother, but it was very expensive. I didn’t buy too much. As the afternoon ended, we all went back to Perth city and made our own way home.

 Day 7   17/03/07

        I didn’t go to college today because it was Saturday. Today Julia’s brother came with her family. At noon, I had a picnic at a very big park called King’s Park overlooking the Swan River. At King’s Park I saw Pim and Neen [2 Thai girls from our group] with their host family. Before picnic I walked around King’s Park and then we had our picnic. I ate sandwiches with salad. Then we went back home and I went to my room and slept for 1or 2 hours …… until evening another chair house student came. Her named was Weebie. She came from Germany. She was tall and strong.

 Day 8  18/03/07

        Today I spent time with my host family again. In the afternoon Susan took me to VDO Easy to borrow some VDO movies. I chatted with my family in Thailand again and watched a TV program called Australia’s got talent. Oh it was very funny, I liked this TV program very much and then I watched a movie called Ugly Betty. When it had finished I took a shower and slept. I slept very well. 

Day 9  19/03/07

        This is the start of my last week in Australia. I thought time on this trip went very fast. I had a new teacher today, her named was Patsy. She was very nice and a little bit funny. For lunch today I went to an Asian restaurant called Ang-Gor. Here I ate bamboo and chicken with rice. It was delicious. I liked this menu. In the afternoon, I played some sports on the esplanade we played football and dodge ball. I took the video camera home to make a movie about my host family. Everyone was very nice and happy to let me take video of them. After that I chatted on MSN with my younger brother.

 Day 10   20/03/07  

        I had to wear my sports uniform today as we were visiting a school called Mercedes College which is across the street from Milner. When we had finished lunch, we went to Mercedes College. This college was very comfortable and very nice. The students in this school were very friendly and kind. We walked a little around the college. In the mathematic class they had some high Technology equipment. I liked this class room. They also had a swimming pool and a beautiful library in which we changed into our costumes and got ready for our Thai music and dancing performance. Here I had a  new friend. This college is a private Catholic girls’ high school. I liked this school.

 Day 11  21/03/07

        This morning class was very good. Today I understood the lesson well. I had a free afternoon and my teacher took us to Harbour town for some more shopping. Here I bought a couple of T-shirts for me and my dad. Some things here were very expensive. I didn’t buy too much. When we had finished shopping we went to a souvenir shop and bought some more things for my family and my friends back in Thailand. I used English for a while and got a discount and some things were given free to me. I was very happy shopping here and I bought too much. I was tired because I just walked, walked and walked. I slept early.

 Day 12  22/03/07

         I woke up early again. This morning I enjoyed the class. Today I was given some homework. When we had finished lunch, I, my friends and the Thai teachers went to Perth Mint. [a short walk from Milner College]. Here I saw gold bars, gold and silver coins. Perth Mint is Australia’s oldest operating mint and leading precious metals house. I tired to pick up a A$200,000 gold bar, but it was too heavy. Here I didn’t take any photos. I made a golden coin for $22.00. Here I saw how to make a gold bar. It was very interesting!!! I liked Perth Mint very much. I took some photos outside Perth Mint and then went shopping in Perth before going home.

 Day 13  23/03007

       I woke up early again. Today was to be my last day at Milner College and today I had my graduation ceremony. I played Thai music to my friends and my teachers in Milner College. Bye bye Milner College and thank you very much for giving us a good time. In the afternoon I went to Subway for bought some thing to eat. [the Principal paid for us] I didn’t want to go shopping but I bought some squid from a Japanese shop called Omm ….. delicious. After that I went back to my lovely home and cooked some Thai food. I cooked Tom-Yam-Kung and omelete for my host family and Maiko [a Japanese girl] who came for my last day. When I had finished cooking and eating, I went to my room and packed my suitcase for the trip home in the morning.

 Day 14   24/03/07

       At 6.20  the alarm clock rang!!!!!!!!  It was time to take a shower and eat breakfast. Then I, Julia and Callum [Callum went to Susan’s house] went to Milner College. I said “Bye bye” to everyone and sat on mini bus. We went back to Perth Airport for our flight back to Thailand. We said Good bye to Robyn, the Milner Tour organizer and checked in for our flight. We flew from Perth to Bangkok via Phuket.. 6 hours later we arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport. After about 2 hours there we flew down to Nakhonsithammarat by Nok-air. We collected our suitcases and went home to see my family again and tell them all about my time in Australia.

 Thank you very much everybody in Perth, especially my host family for giving me such a memorable time!
